Armie Hammer Pulls A Ryan Gosling And Saves Lives, Just Another Day In Hollywood

By  |

In a news story so heartwarming that you'll be tempted to crash your car outside Armie Hammer's house and convince him  mouth-to-mouth resuscitation is necessary, the star on the rise stopped his car on Monday to help victims of a car accident.

And in true heroic fashion, he did it completely anonymously. It's not like he approached the car, introduced himself and handed out information on how to follow him on Twitter and buy his perfume.

No, he saw the accident and leapt to action. He ended up assisting the victims alongside model Leeann Tweeden, who shared their story on her Facebook.

So random random RANDOM.

I was sitting in my house when I hear an accident tonight. I throw on my shoes and run out of my house to see if I can help.

I see it's on my (busy) corner and run down that way. I run up as a guy is helping an older woman (60ish?) out of her smashed up car that both airbags deployed in.

Now mind you, it's rush hour at a busy intersection. People are honking at other c

ars because one lane is blocked and people can't go through the debris in the open lane fast enough for others. But it's me and this guy helping the woman (2 other girls are there. One was a witness on her Vespa. The other in her car in the parking lot of the flower shop.)

When the guy turns around, who is it?!!!! None other than:

ARMIE HAMMER!!!!! (Yes, from the Social Network, J. Edgar and the upcoming The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp!)

Yes, ladies. The cutie Armie was in the opposite turn lane in his Audi and watched the whole thing go down and got out of his car to help. Me and him. Out of millions in LA.

Funny enough, I've met him once and know his wife. Small world.

We hugged and said goodbye. Glad no one was seriously injured. I waited for the Fireman and the Cops to show up then I walked back home.

Ahhh, life in LA!

Yes, just another day in LA! Another day where a car accident could be your key to getting touched by a movie star and a model.

Let's just hope the car accident victims appreciated the fact that a beautiful celebrity who rose to fame playing BOTH the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network took time out of his busy schedule to come to their aid.
