Arie Luyendyk, Jr. Says ‘No Thanks’ To Being The Next Bachelor
Break out the tissue, fans of The Bachelorette, because Ari Luyendyk, Jr. has decided that he's more likely to find love on the racetrack than on a reality show. Someone hand this guy a medal.
Having been the runner up on The Bachelorette, it only made sense that he would be first in line to be The Bachelor next season. But this weekend Luyendyk, who apparently thinks he's a super huge celebrity now who should be doing such things, tweeted out a press release saying:
“The Bachelorette was an amazing experience but I will not continue with The Bachelor. Ultimately I realized my heart is tied to the race track and my career is my main priority. I'm looking forward to getting back on the track.”
The former reality TV star and future race car-driving star continued to tweet words of thanks and support to his fans. Aww! What a good guy!
You have to hand it to him, at least a racetrack can't break your heart — your head, perhaps, but definitely not your heart. It may not love you back, but neither did The Bachelorette, Emily Maynard. Well, she said she did, but she didn't choose him so we all know how that goes.
