Adam Levine Uses The Paparazzi Stalking Him To Get A Good Message Out

By  |

It isn't often that I compliment Adam Levine for doing something good. Mostly I find myself just talking about his body. It's astounding. But today we're forced to stop thinking about his abs, and start thinking about his heart. Turns out he has one! Underneath all those good looks, hit songs and smarmy facial expressions on The Voice, the guy's got a good heart.

Like many celebrities, he found himself being stalked this weekend by the paparazzi. Rather than run and hide from them, he decided to use his celebrity power of publicity for good. He wrote “Text Red Cross to 90999” on a piece of paper and held it up for the paparazzi following him to photograph. E! has the photo proof right here.

Paps get their photo, Hurricane Sandy victims get help and everyone goes home happy. While Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield started this trend a few months ago, it's good to see other celebrities catching on and using their exposure to make a difference in the world.

Especially in world where other celebrities like Khloe Kardashian are using their moments in the spotlight to highlight their nipples. While “the Kardashians” is clearly The Kardashian's favorite cause, it's hard to argue that their increased exposure does anything good in the world. Besides, of course, remind us that sex tapes are the best way to fast forward yourself to fame.

So take Adam Levine's advice today and donate to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. If karma works the way I think it works, you'll grow a new ab with every $10 you donate.
