From Birmingham to Buffalo

BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA: Shontelle, Sean Kingston, Metro Station. This was a fun show and it was also the first time I met Sean K. in person. He seems to be a cool dude.

Next was NASHVILLE! I was so excited about this show because Nashville is one of the music meccas of the world! Especially for songwriters like myself! This was a huge show and was called Acoustic Christmas. So it featured some really cool artists like Sara Bareilles, Saving Abel, Brandy, Metro Station, Boys Like Girls, Lady GaGa, and Kevin Rudolf. Brandy is super nice! I'm so happy to see her back on the scene again! On the way out of the venue, we got swarmed by a mob of kids who wanted pics 'n' autographs, and we hung out with them for a few minutes.

On to MEMPHIS! This was a road trip instead of flying. We stayed and played at Sam's Town, a really cool Casino Village. This show featured mostly rock acts, and I was the only girl on the bill! So you know I had to really bring my A game and represent for the ladies! The other acts included, Kevin Rudolf, Thriving Ivory, Rehab, Boys Like Girls, Saving Abel and get this, Nick Lachey was there! He was a special guest host for the evening. He's hot in person, too! Maybe even hotter than on TV or in the mags. Hahahaha. Some people aren't as cute as they are supposed to be when you meet 'em in person, but I'm not gonna go there! Anyway, the show was great, but the most fun was after the show. We were invited to a new club called the Red Door at a different casino, and on the way back to the hotel, we had the limo driver stop in an open field so we could set off firecrackers and roman candles and smoke grenades! I felt like such a kid, and it was soooo fun!!!!

At the LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS show, most of the other guys from the last show also played this show but Christina Milian was there as well. I met her for the first time. She's so tiny! She was very nice to all of us and took plenty of pics. What a sweetheart! We rocked the dome, and as usual, the crowd helped me sing "T-Shirt" and showed so much love. I had a great time in Little Rock.

Now to fly out to ROCHESTER, NY for the next show! Me and Kevin Rudolf got "Dangerous" in our "T-Shirts" and "Let It Rock" with Kardinal Offishall. It was so cold here! Check my Kyte player on MySpace for some of the cool footage from the show!

The BUFFALO, NY show was sooooo good, even though it was freezing and snowy. OMG! Yeah, my friends Archie, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station, and Flo Rida were there. Shortman, my dancers, and I had a great performance, and they told us the house has never been full from the opening act and that everyone wanted to do the Shontelle meet 'n' greet. That was fun, and I was so touched to hear that. But the best part of the night was hanging with kids from Camp Good Days. Many of them have or are being affected by cancer and they are just the sweetest things! That was amazing. Boys Like Girls did a Shontelle big-up (that's up on Kyte too). Archie came to hang out in my room after his performance, then came Martin with his camera. Fun times! Check out the Martin Says blog (martinsays.com) and my MySpace blog to see exactly what went down. We hung out in the Chocolate Bar downstairs in the hotel after. I had a disgustingly sinful piece of Dutch chocolate cake! Dina (my market rep from Universal) is evil! After the cake, she made me try the crème brulee. It was sinfully good!

Next show, was pretty small in MELBOURNE, FLORIDA. Donny Klang performed. We had Waffle House after!

Now for a day and a half break until the big MIAMI show. This will be a huge lineup of shows. I even get to do some shows with my homegirl RiRi and Archie!

So make sure you guys check back to see the awesomeness of it all!!! Muuuaaaahhhhaaaa.

Hope all the holiday prep is coming along!
