High School Throwback

Hey Alloy!
My name is Rachel Reinert from Gloriana, and we will be giving you some inside scoop about what goes on in our lives every week! A quick introduction: Tom and Mike are brothers from Wilmington, NC, I am from Santa Ana, CA, and Cheyenne is from Dallas, TX. We became a band about a year and a half ago and have been in the fastest whirlwind of our lives ever since! We have been so blessed.

Onto what is going on with us now -- we are on tour with Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift all the way until October.

This past weekend, we had four shows in Spokane and Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Nampa, ID. It was one of the busiest weekends yet! We performed at Mead High School in Spokane and Liberty High School in Seattle. Both of these schools were amazing. We also performed at our first Wal-Mart in Idaho; it was something different for us, another way to meet more people, and allowed us to share our music. Some of the people on tour with us came over to see our show, so that made it extra fun!

To top off the busy weekend, we also shot a music video! It was all live footage...so if you saw us this weekend, look for yourself in our next video on CMT and GAC called "The Way It Goes." We are so excited to see how this video turns out and hopefully everyone will like it.

Right now, we are hanging out on our tour bus in Glendale, Ariz. We just finished up another show, and it was SO much fun -- as always! We spent the last couple days relaxing in Phoenix resting, laying out by the pool, and having dinner with our tour manager's family!

Tonight, we are headed to California to play my old high school, and I am SO excited about that. It's been a few years since I've been there, so I can't wait to get there and show my band mates and crew where I used to go to school! :)

We are also playing the Staples Center in Los Angeles tomorrow night, and my whole family and best friend will be there! Yay!

Anyway, our lives are crazy and busy, but we're having the time of our lives! Hope to see you out on the road...

Xoxo,
Rach
