What’s up, my Alloy peeps! This past week has been absolutely crazy as we gear up for the release of Step Up 2. In my last blog, I left you with the news that I’d be doing a ton of press for the movie and that the premiere would be happening in Hollywood. Here’s a little update on those events:

Press days are always really long, but this one was really cool because I had a chance to do a little bragging about all of my fellow actors, choreographers and dancers in Step Up. The dancing and music in this movie are so innovative -- I feel really lucky to be part of it. I’m telling you…it’s hot!

The premiere took place on Monday in Hollywood at Arclight Cinemas (one of the coolest places to see movies). This was the first time that we had a chance to see the movie with the entire cast -- and it was awesome that Channing and Jenna from the first movie showed up to check it out (Channing’s got a pretty cool part in this one, too). After the movie, we all went to a party down the street and tore up the club. Touchstone Pictures should’ve put a camera in there for Step Up 3 because everyone was getting down. I guess that’s what you get with a movie full of some of the best dancers in the world.
