Today is a day off for Mayday Parade. Calling it a day off is misleading though. Even though we're not playing a show tonight, we still have to drive eight hours through the snow from Columbus to Allentown. The days where we truly have a break and don't have to worry about anything are few and far between, but would we have it any other way? Not for a second. We have the greatest job in the world, and I want to begin this blog by thanking you for the continuous love and support. The fact that anyone cares to read these things is more than I could ever ask for.
That having been said, let's talk about the latest news. As some of you know, we're on tour now with All Time Low, Just Surrender, and Every Avenue. I didn't think it was possible to enjoy every tour more than the last, but it keeps happening. All of the bands are amazing and truly wonderful people. We're all so sad that this tour is almost over, but lucky for us there are many exciting things on the horizon.
We're about to start our tour with Emery, and we'll stay pretty busy up until Warped Tour this summer. To everybody who has come out to the shows, you mean the world to us. I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my day off now.
I hope to see the new Batman movie soon. I hear Heath Ledger did an amazing job playing the Joker. Everyone should take a moment to think about his family and what a tragic loss they've recently been through. If you pray, pray. If you meditate, meditate. Otherwise, think good thoughts.
Be safe everyone.
