On The Road Again

So we left home this week and began a tour with All Time Low. We will be touring with them for the next three months and then quickly jump onto a tour with Emery. I am pretty excited. We have been on a break for the holidays, and I definitely miss playing in front of crowds. can't wait to for these tours. I like both bands and I am ready to hang out with some cool people on tour.

Right now, I'm sitting in a hotel watching The Office, which I love, and preparing both physically and mentally for the long months ahead.

For those of you who think touring is glamorous, I am here to tell you that it is fun but also boring at times. There is often a lot of dead time, a lot! I have brought along enough books for a small library, my movies, TV shows, and most importantly my acoustic guitar. Over the past month, I have accumulated a decent amount of movies to take with me on the road. Among this collection are a couple of films with Tom Hanks, who I recently realized is an amazing actor. I also have the movie Gettysburg. Now I know most of you guys might be rolling your eyes thinking that I am crazy for wanting to watch a movie that belongs in your high school American History class, a movie that most of you would sleep through (it's like three or four hours long), but I like it. I guess I'm a history buff. Without all of these things with me on the road, I don't know how I would function correctly as a human being.

I am also really excited about it to travel the country. I am excited to get out a visit parts of the country I love like Seattle and New York City.
