Gaelan Connell isn't your typical movie star. For starters, he's super sweet and literally made us LOL. We chatted with the Bandslam actor about his smooch with Vanessa Hudgens, his band Sweet 16 (there's a cute story behind the name!), and his weirdest food combo. Get to know your new summer crush!

What was your Bandslam audition like?
I tried out for Will and I got through the first page of scripts, and the casting director was like, "It's not really working. You play cello, so why don't you try out for the cellist?" I went back and tried out for the cellist, which they ended up giving to a girl. I got to my last audition, and Todd was there and I did my cello song, pretty nervous, and they looked at each other and were like, "Well, he's a little weird. Why don't we have him try out for Will?" And I got that part.
