Do you get recognized in your hometown?
I'm pretty careful. I went home and spoke at my high school, which was fun. I love my high school. But it was crazy because people watch the show and I just never realized. [In LA,] nobody thinks twice if they see you on the street -- they go, "Oh, that was that guy," and keep walking. You go somewhere else and it's like, "Oh my god it's that guy!" and they'll chase you down the street! It's really weird.
What was the weirdest fan encounter?
It actually happened to be in my hometown. I went to my old high school to see one on the shows. I was being really shady, trying to get under the radar, but they have kids get extra credit for school if they go to the show. So there were a bunch of cheerleaders out there who watched the show and just created a little bit of panic in the lobby.
