Did you get to give a lot of input into your character?
I think that's definitely great. In this movie, I felt really comfortable going up to Nick and saying, "Hey, what about this for the scene?" and he was very open to a lot of input and that helped me to know my character more and have some say in what I did in the movie. It was usually very small stuff like the elephants or they would let me choose what shoes to wear for the scene or what outfits or hair clips I would wear, so I had a lot of fun doing that. Just certain things like how I would do a scene, and Nick was always very open if I asked, "Can I try a take this way?" He would say, "Go for it!"
