What storylines would you love to see your characters get into?
Daren: I definitely love playing the drama side of my character, a lot of emotional stuff -- it's real fun. It's challenging, and I just want to become a better actor. If you've got good material, then you challenge and push yourself.
Shailene: I wish Amy had a better outlook on life, just in the sense that she hasn't hit that maturity point. Kudos to Brenda for even recognizing that in teenagers because some kids might mature at 13, some kids might mature at 20 -- it just depends on the person. But I think Amy is at that denial state in her life where everything is out to get her. Everything is wrong, nothing is right, everything's negative. So I'm excited for her to finally get to that point where she has a positive outlook on life.
