Pretty much all the movies you've made have had an indie vibe. Would you ever want to transition to glossier movies?
I've been trying. My bottom line is that I look for roles that are different than ones I've played already, so it's just a matter of what comes along that aligns. I don't choose movies based on their budget or based on their scale, and I definitely auditioned for all sorts of movies all the time and I read all sorts of scripts, but there's a lot more to getting the part than liking something and wanting to be a part of it. It's about stars aligning. I was very recently set up to do a very big studio romantic comedy, and then at the very last second the dates didn't work out and the whole thing fell apart. So it's not that I'm opposed to it -- it just hasn't worked out perfectly yet.
