How does your musical style differ from Mason's?
Mason actually originally wrote about eight songs on the Metro Station album himself and that was all acoustic guitar and then his keyboardist Blake came in and added those electronic riffs, which made it Metro Station. As far as Mason and his band goes, their sound is '80's pop electro. Ours is still similar to that, but it's more rock 'n' roll. A lot of my songs are teen-friendly, what I'm going through. Mason's a little bit older, and their whole group is a little bit older, so they do their older thing. I'm more about being a teenager: going to parties, and talking about girls.
