I read that the producer Robert Tapert said that when he saw you on your audition tape he absolutely thought you were the guy instantly. Did you feel that way while reading it?
I kind of did. There were times when I read something and after I went "Oh gosh, that's me." I knew there was definitely something in Richard that was in me. I was kind of confident going into this audition. It felt good.

How are you like and unlike your character Richard?
I think Richard's a fair guy and I try to be fair. He's all about equality and trying to just tackle the situation at hand and look at the bigger picture and that's kind of what I like to do and try to really employ and I think it's a really good quality.
