Matt Giraud might have been a judge fave, but last week, Matt was voted off American Idol for the second time. This time the judges couldn't save him and it's a wrap for this rocker. What's Matt's musical forecast? We chatted with dueling piano player for details.

Did you expect to be sent home?
I didn't know for sure, but I was ready for it and I was trying to prepare myself mentally for such a hard thing to deal with. I was definitely surprised that Adam was down there with me, it was kind of a cruel twist to have him pick who he thought was the lowest vote getters. And we kind of played with him backstage saying, "why didn't you pick us to be the highest vote getters?" But it felt kind of uncomfortable, but I've been there before, so I could deal with it.
