Did your pageant experience come in handy on Idol?
Yes, definitely. Getting used to being on stage and singing and stuff, it definitely has, and I'm glad that I have that experience in the past, or else I might be a little more nervous or just not as comfortable.

What genre are you looking forward to?
During the show, they do so many different themes and genres. I'm looking forward to all of that because I like so many different types of music. Since I'm so young, I don't want to limit myself, I want to explore different genres. I hope I stick around for the themes and show America the different styles that I can do.
