What was it like having the black pompadour for Dadnapped?
It was fun. Everyone knows me as Jackson on Hannah and that very specific style, and Merv is so different. The hair was our centerpiece for that -- dying it black and putting it up in the pompadour. The only bad thing was that it takes 45 minutes to do, so instead of just sitting in a chair and shaking [my] hair like on Hannah, there's a process -- that was a little unusual for me.

So now you know what it's like to be a girl and have to sit there in hair and makeup for a long time.
It's actually even worse for girls! Emily was always in the chair for longer than I was, and she was just getting her cute regular girl hair done and I was having this full pompadour thing. I don't know what it is that you guys do, but I feel sorry for you.
