Best-known for playing Miley Cyrus' goofy older bro Jackson on Hannah Montana, Jason Earles is barely recognizable as evil Merv in the Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped. (Maybe it's that crazy black pompadour 'do!) We chatted with Jason about playing the villain, plus his relationship with Miley. Read on!

What was it like playing the bad guy in Dadnapped?
I was really nervous. You would expect someone a bit more physically imposing. [But] it ended up working really well because it's a pretty good mislead: I seem like the quirky, really helpful guy and it turns out there's this really awful, evil streak in him. It makes for a cooler, more dramatic turn in the movie. But it did take a couple of days to figure out what his tone was: how goofy, schticky, off-the-wall he was and how evil does he get.
