What inspired you to do Rah!?
I've been wanting to do this for almost 10 years. Every girl grows up wanting to be a cheerleader or dance, and finally it was on the cover of Newsweek that the number-one after-school activity for girls is going back and forth between cheerleading squad to dance team, and I'm very fortunate that MTV loved the idea. After viewing tons of YouTube, like thousands of [squads] from different universities, I picked five teams that have something special about them. I'm all about the underdog. Some of them didn't have financial means to get down to Florida for the nationals, that they can show off on a network, which will also open up people's eyes that don't know a lot about cheerleading to the sportsmanship of it and the camaraderie and the commitment and the rehearsals and maintaining good grades and the whole bit.
