You're a bit of a hard rock chick. Did you get to channel any of that into the album?
I didn't really get to channel any hard rock, but the song I wrote with Robert Schwartzman -- I wanted to write it like a song that had a southern rock feel, more rock than some of the songs on my album. So there was a more rock song and that one was pretty fun, and it's called "Party," and it's a song about just having a good time, you know?

What are your favorite bands right now?
I love Paramore -- they're like my all-time favorite band. Who have I been listening to? You caught me off guard! I love Bright Eyes, and I love The Kooks.
