So when we gave you our fave British bands of the moment, the indie rockers naturally had a spot on that list. We chatted with The Kooks' guitarist Hugh Harris about everything from their new album, Konk, to Lily Allen…even Gossip Girl! Read on…

How did you go about working on your latest record, Konk?
The most important thing with this second record was for us to not lose sight of what we are at heart, which is, you know, a pop band and fun, as well. We didn't really want to sort of detract too much from what we've always been. I think it would have been a little bit false if we had completely gone in a different direction.
