Take us through a day of filming.
[I'm] up early morning, throw on some gear, take a drive through Los Angeles (which takes forever), get to the stage -- usually where it's freezing cold. Go through some blocking with Mario to get a feel for the rhythm of the show. Take a break, go meet up with the producers and talk about the speed of the answers. Because there's a time limit to the show, we need our answers to be 30 seconds or less. This show, we focus on the challenges, or this show, we talk about the dance in general. We'll make our comments accordingly and judge accordingly. Then we have two or three hours to get ourselves together -- I'll usually go for lunch. Come back, hop into wardrobe and the makeup and hair chair. Then, do a little press, make sure the friends and family are where they need to be, and go shoot the show.
