

What's the process for making a Fall Out Boy music video?
Outside of "Beat It," we've done all our videos with Alan Ferguson. I'll come to him with an idea, he'll come to me with an idea, and we'll kind of flesh out a treatment. Then, we'll go to each band member and figure out how to magnify their role and what their idea for their role is.
What makes a good music video for you?
The same thing as what makes a good movie: the suspension of disbelief. It's you being able to jump into the video with the band. When you see the singer singing into the camera and he's not believing what he's singing, the director hasn't captured that moment. I don't think an amazing music video has to cost a million dollars. You've seen insane ones for a lot cheaper with dudes running on a treadmill. Whatever captures the moment…
