Tell us about Bittersweet World.
I've never done a record that was beat-driven, so it's definitely a record that you can shake your booty to. It's a fun record -- there's an '80s inspiration. My guitar player [and I] wrote everything together, and we got to work with amazing people, so it was a fun creative process.
