What is it about Canadian bands that make 'em so good? (See Arcade Fire, Tegan and Sara, Simple Plan, Alexisonfire, etc.) Is it the cold that forces them indoors, giving them time to make music? Is it the air, the water? Whatever it is, Toronto's The Midway State has definitely gotten their share. We interrupted the band's practice for their upcoming tour with Mika to chat with lead singer/pianist Nathan Ferraro. See what he had to say about former tour mate Chris Daughtry, the Canadian music scene, and more!
You finished a tour with Daughtry in December. How was that?
It was amazing. That was our first tour playing huge shows like that every single night. It's such an amazing experience to play to thousands of people every single night.
