What was your favorite scene to film?
There's a scene where I was on the front of the jet ski in the tank with rain towers, wind machines, [and] wave machines. Apart from it being completely freezing, it was fun because after a while you just block out the cold, and you're just riding around on a jet ski in 10-foot high waves.

How did you film the parts of the movie where you're riding Crusoe?
Blue screen. They built a huge tank in the parking lot of the studio, and it was a jet ski with a huge net thing on the front of it, so that was completely crazy.

Was it hard to come up with a Scottish accent?
Yeah -- it's such a distinct accent from mine. It was hard to do but I don't live that far away from Scotland. My granddad is Scottish as well, so I should have been able to do it, and I think he'll have a go at me if I didn't do it that well.
