How are you like and unlike your character, Angus?
I'm not really like Angus in that many ways because he's more of a loner and his dad's dead. I'm happier than him most of the time, and I've got a few more friends than him.

No mythical creatures in your group of friends?
No, not any of them yet. Yet!

Was it hard to act with an imaginary character? Yeah. When it was in the teenage stages, it was a puppet. And then it moved to a tennis ball on a stick, so it was a challenge for me. A big, big challenge. Obviously, you feel stupid when you're talking to a tennis ball. Then, you've got to get over the self-consciousness of it -- doing that in front of 200 people and a camera, and it's gonna be shown to millions of people. So that was the hardest part of it, but it looks good.
