One year ago, Jordin Sparks was just an average 16-year-old girl. But what a difference a year makes! In May, Jordin was declared the winner of American Idol's sixth season (the youngest in the show's history!) and she's just released her debut album. Yeah, we're pretty sure 2007 has been Jordin's fave of her 17 years. Read on to get the scoop from Ms. Sparks herself!

How is your life now the same as it was at the beginning of 2007? How is it different?
It's the same because I'm still the same. My friends still treat me the same. Family's still the same. Everything is pretty much the same except for my extracurricular life. Last year, I wasn't in any magazines I subscribed to; people didn't follow me down the street; I definitely was watching award shows on TV instead of being at them; and I didn't have an album out. So things have definitely taken a 360-degree turn, but I love it. It's definitely changed for the better.
