We're not gonna lie -- we've been crushin' on Emile Hirsch since we saw him in 2002's The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys. We followed him as he shone in The Girl Next Door, Lords of Dogtown, and Alpha Dog, biding our time until our boy really hit it big. That time is now! In biopic Into The Wild, Emile plays Chris McCandless, who graduated from college, cut all ties to his family, donated his $24,000 savings to charity, changed his name, and traveled to Alaska to live in the wilderness alone. Not only is Emile getting Oscar buzz for Into The Wild, but he has another awesome movie coming up -- Speed Racer. Sigh, we so heart him. Read on to see why we heart this sizzlin' star.

You just did TRL -- what was that like?
That was a lot of fun. It was actually a lot wilder [than I thought]. It's loud on TV, but it's even louder when you're actually there. I couldn't believe they'd have the energy to keep screaming. I'll go "Woo!!!" and then I'm like, "Oh, I'm tired…"
