We don't know who was more stoked for our interview with Miss Teen USA 2007, Hilary Cruz -- her or us! ("I'm so excited about Alloy," she tells us. "I actually wear your clothes all the time.") Either way, we're glad we got to chat with the 18-year-old Coloradoan: she's a total sweetie, and she gave us the dish on MTV's new reality show, Pageant Place, which chronicles the lives of Miss Teen USA, Miss USA (Rachel Smith), and Miss Universe (Riyo Mori) as they share their reigns -- and an apartment in NYC. What was your first thought when you won Miss Teen USA ?
I don't even remember the exact moment. When it was the bottom two, I kept telling myself, "I'm gonna be first runner-up." And when I won, I was numb. The first thing I thought about was Katie because I felt bad for her. [But] I was super excited. I cried! It took a few days to settle in.
