How is Trey Day different from your debut?
It's a step, you know what I mean? I've evolved as a singer; I've evolved as a songwriter. We went to a couple of different producers [who] helped bring the best out of me.

Is there a story behind the name of the album?
The first time around, my fans were calling July 26, 2007 (the day that my debut album came out) "Trey Day". And this time around, I wanted to call this Trey Day. And also just because I feel like it's my time.

So it's gonna be Trey Year.
Yeah, I like that, too. Trey Year. T-R-E-Y-E-A-R. I love it!

What's your favorite track on the album?
I like so many! If I can pick one for today (just for the day!), it would be "Fly Together" with Jim Jones.
