Why did you change your name from Renata to The Last Goodnight?
No one could ever pronounce it right. It was always Ricotta, Ramada,
Rettata, etc. People would think we were a kind of cheese, painting, or an
Italian restaurant down in SoHo. I guess you could say that over time we just got burnt on it.
Were you afraid of confusing your old audience with your old name?
Never.
What defines a song by The Last Goodnight?
The album is very eclectic. Anything and everything that can be spoken from the soul. Personal experiences mostly, with an occasional twist of fiction.
