Sara Paxton plays a major witch in the movie, what are your top tips for dealing with mean girls?
I guess the best thing to do is use comedy. For me, I used to always try to come up with something clever to say to them. And I’m not saying be mean back, but there’s certainly a way to do it. Just realize that these girls are being rude to you or belittling you or making you insecure, only because they’re so insecure. I really believe that.

Have you ever had a Sydney-like experience, where you felt like an outcast?
I have been through many experiences in my life where I felt that way. And if anything I’ve grown from each one. And from each one you just sort of get a thicker skin and you realize you don’t need some people in your life. You just need people who lift you up. You don t need the negative people in your life. You should get rid of them.
