If you haven't seen Secondhand Serenade play live, you might not know that the "band" is actually one guy. His name is John Vesely, and he's a pretty incredible musician. In fact, MTV has named him a "You Hear It First" artist and put him in their "Discover & Download" series. In 2005, before he was signed to a record label, John was the No. 1 unsigned band on MySpace and was the only unsigned act to have an album in the Top 100 alternative albums on iTunes. Not bad for a dude who took up playing guitar so he could, wait for it, serenade his GF (now his wife). In the past year, John has toured with Monty Are I, Hawthorne Heights, and Plain White T's, and he doesn't look like he's stopping anytime soon.
