Who's your favorite band to tour with?
Really like HelloGoodbye a lot because they're really good friends of ours. We've done ton of shows together at VFW Halls before either of us knew what we were doing [or] had any sort of success. But I also like Reliant K a lot. I get along with generally most of the bands we go on tour with.

Since you can't play everything on tour, are you really picky when it comes to picking a backing band?
Yeah, I'm ridiculously picky about that. But at the same time, making sure I'm on tour with good people comes before playing, even though [talent] is obviously really important. In January, we had really big tryouts in Hollywood, and tons of people tried out. I ended up hiring friends that I went to my middle school with. So it's more important to me to have cool dudes with me. I'm pretty much on tour with some of my best friends, which is really awesome.
