How have you changed from your first album to this album?
We've just been through so much stuff. Everything happened really easily the first time around. We got signed right after high school, we were doing great tours, and everything went our way. And then all of a sudden, a lot of [stuff happened]. We've grown even closer. We have the same lineup that we've started with. A lot of people were shocked that we made it through all this stuff. But the record is still sunny, West Coast music that we love, but it's a little more grown up. Robert's singing is definitely more manly and developed and we are all better at playing our instruments. It’s a little edger, but we still have good harmonies that people still like about the [first] record.

What's your favorite song on Calling The World?
I really like the single, "When Did Your Heart Go Missing." It's kind of a dance groove rock song -- something kind of new for us, which is really cool. In general now, rock music has gotten kind of square. ["When Did Your Heart Go Missing"] has like a nice beat that makes you want to dance. That's what we were trying to do with that song, and it seems to be working.
