Your sophomore album, Calling The World, has been a long time coming. What life lessons did you guys learn in the process?
We learned about coping with big business. We learned about creativity and also about making albums. We basically got off the road in 2005, and went right in the studio, made a record that we pushed aside and decided to go try it again. We worked with another producer, made a whole other album in 2006 and then the label restructured so we had all this time to kill. And we still weren't still super excited about [the album], so we made a third, which is our fourth studio album we've made, which is Calling The World.
Do you think you'll ever release the other two albums?
We just got word that we're going to start releasing tracks from the first attempt, as B-sides and bonus tracks. We'll have four of those songs coming out around the same time as the album, in different big chain stores, and that's really exciting.
