What's your favorite song on the album?
My favorite song is "Need To Love." I like the message of the song because it's a love song, but it's not love in the sense of just a man and a woman -- it's love in the sense of everybody. It's kind of like loving your neighbor. I feel like it delivers a kind of message that I would want people to pick up on. We've been getting way more optimistic with our songwriting too, which I think makes a difference. In the last record, we started getting a little too "Negative Nancy" with the concept. I've noticed a trend in music, it might not appear it off the bat, but if you take a look at a lot of the lyrics that are out there, especially the bands in our genre, are really focusing on negative aspects of things. We really wanted to make a hopeful record and something that would give people positivity.
