What was your thought process in terms of what you wore and how you did you hair? How much of all that was your decision?

Well, with my hair I always had an idea of what I wanted and the hair person would help me to execute it. And with styling of clothes and stuff, I just wanted to really capture my personality and put it out there and the stylist really helped me with that. So I did have a lot of help, but the ideas were mainly mine.

Was it frustrating for you that your hair got more attention than your singing?
No, because at a certain point, that's kind of become my thing. Everyone looks for something to grab onto with each contestant, but I feel like my hair was that for me. That was kind of my joke, back at you thing.

What was your favorite hairstyle?
My favorite hairstyle was when I sang "Besame Mucho" -- minus the grease. I've always wanted my hair to be curly like that. It's a little bit curly naturally, but that's like my dream hair so I really liked it.
