Your character, Carter, in the movie, goes through a big break up and decides to head out of town for awhile. Could you relate?
Well, it's a character, of course. I think it was more Jon [Kasdan]'s writing that I could relate with. It's an everyman story, the journey we all go through at some point, growing up.

Carter heads to Detroit after his break up. Where do you go when you want to escape L.A. for a bit?
Back home to San Diego to visit my folks.

Do you deal with break ups like Carter at all?
How do you deal? I think we all detach ourselves from the situation if we can. Obviously, it hurts to end something. I don't know if I deal with it like Carter. I like to think I deal with it in my own, charming, music-listening-to-way.
