When you were growing up, what about grown-up life seemed the most unappealing?
Acne. Also, being between periods and not finding clothes. Pre-teen years are tough because you don't want to dress like a little girl anymore but you don't want to dress like a teenager. And, it was hard to find a size. Finding the clothes that fit your own personality was hard. Like, "what's my style at that age and do they actually have it in my size?"

How did you get over being self-conscious about your body when you were younger?
Some of my friends grew up faster than me -- I was younger than everyone else and I didn't develop as quickly. They were getting boobs and they were growing and I was the shortest, the youngest. First I was self-conscious that I was not developing, and then I became a little self-conscious because I developed all at once, too fast.
