The record's called The Movie We Are In. What does the title mean?
I think that in our lives we've become really absorbed in stuff like YouTube, Facebook, and we've become voyeurs. It's as if sometimes real engagement in life is not as interesting. We can relate to movies but in the end we're watching them, not living them. Part of my interest about it is that we're really observing each other and we're in a kind of movie, although we don't talk about it as a movie that we're in. We have now become part of each other's lives through all the visual and audio aspects of the modern world.

How do movies affect your life?
I love movies and I think that that's a part of this. There could be parts of life or a day or a situation that remind me so much of what happened in a certain movie. I think it's not as much about saying "Well, my life is like that particular film," as it is a comment on the fact that we're viewing each other in our worlds.
