What made you want to have a band rather than go solo like other young stars?
Well, my show is my life and it's an ensemble cast and we're like a family. So when I stepped into music, I wanted to take that family factor and put it in my music. Having a band and having someone who is on the stage with you and can support you was my main goal. So I definitely wanted to have a band from the beginning and I'm lucky to have a good group of guys around me.

What do you guys like to do when you're not performing?
We hang out at the house or we will go get yogurt. We went to a yogurt place and sat there for like, 4 hours and just talked. That was definitely one of my favorite memories of my band. And my lead guitarist will teach me guitar and piano when we're not working. He's a perfectionist so he teaches me the proper way of playing. It's been really fun.
