We've seen the stunning Emmy Rossum as an opera singer, a sinking ship survivor, and even a scientist. But in the new indie flick Dare, we're getting to see a whole new side of her! She plays Alexa, a goody-two-shoes and aspiring actress who embarks on a bold journey with her high school's bad boy and her BGF. But is Emmy a good girl in real life, too? We chatted with Emmy about her new flick, what she was like as a teen and her hot co-star Zach Gilford. Read on if you "dare"!

What drew you to the role of Alexa?
I was looking for a script that was more character-driven, which is what I started doing in movies before I started making a bunch of blockbusters. I saw this short film Dare, and I was so impressed by its refreshingly honest take on young people and intimacy and trying to figure out who you are and who you're not. So I really wanted to be part of the feature.
