Family portrait.
Adhir, the consummate professional."
Hello Everybodyyyy!!!
What's shakin'??
Just thought I'd check in from the Aliens in America set to update you on what's been goin' on. We're filming in Canada, which is very exciting for me being that I've never been outta the States!! Canada is such a fun, mellow country with a gorgeous natural landscape. I can't believe we've been up here for over a month now. The time has literally flown by. We've been in a whirlwind of scripts, table reads, wardrobe fittings, shooting, rehearsing, etc.
We're currently shooting our 7th episode entitled "Junior Prank," in which my character becomes pretty invested in the family's pet alpacas. It is an incredibly creative environment, and every script gets better and better. Thus far, my character, Claire, has been in a cheerleading outfit, two homecoming dresses, and a swimsuit. I think I speak for everyone when I say that it's a blast.
The highlight of this experience for me has been the people. I cannot say enough about the crew and especially the rest of the cast. Working with Amy Pietz, Scott Patterson, Dan Byrd, and Adhir Kalyan is surreal. Not only are they all enormously talented, but they are genuinely amazing people to be around. :)
I look forward to keeping you guys informed as to our shenanigans both on and off set, as well as to any story hints I may be able to drop. For instance, this episode, we worked with six alpacas as well as an unruly fire hose. Just another week on Aliens in America! Check back next week for another update!
Over & Out,
Lindsey
