Singing Solo

It wouldn't be a gossip roundup without a breakup in the mix. This week it's David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell who are headed to splitsville. So sad! We thought they had so much in common. They started dating shortly after David won Idol last May, when he publicly asked Kim on a date on the red carpet before the season finale. Maybe Kim wasn't into the PDA! The split was amicable, according to Kimberly's rep. "Kimberly and David ended their relationship just before the holidays. The couple remains good friends and being very private people, appreciate their privacy at this time." They'll both have to stay tuned for season eight of Idol -- new singers to swoon over!
