The Case of the Missing Mink

Call Nancy Drew -- we have a mystery on our hands! Masha Markova, a student at Columbia University, says Lindsay Lohan stole her $11,000 blond mink coat from a party in January. Masha put her coat in a pile with other jackets, she tells the New York Post, but when she went to leave, it was gone. A few weeks later, Masha saw a paprazzi pic of LiLo wearing the mink. After Masha threatened to sue, the coat was returned through the party venue. Now, she wants LiLo to fork over $10,000 for "renting" the coat. "I don't see how it could have been an accident," Masha says. But we're torn: LiLo owns a "number of similar coats" and returned it immediately after learning it wasn't hers, TMZ reports. Plus, one of Lindsay's guy friends carried the coat out of the club, which leads us to believe it wasn't intentional. We're not taking sides, but why don't we all just not wear fur and call it a day?
