Since she appeared on How I Met Your Mother, there's been a helluva lot of news about jobs offers for Britney Spears, like a possible guest appearance on 30 Rock and a never-gonna-happen stint as a receptionist for PETA. But WWJD ("J" being Brit's conservator/dad Jamie)? Well, if he gets his way, Britney will put her music career on hold (she's already in the studio working on a new album) and get a job on a TV show, an insider tells Page Six. "Britney did a great job on How I Met Your Mother," the source says. "She got the show its highest ratings yet, but more importantly for Jamie, he wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble. A sitcom would do that. So he's exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show." Let's just hope it's not a soap opera -- she's got enough drama in her life!
