Surprise, surprise -- Lauren Conradadmits that parts of The Hills are "re-enacted" for MTV's cameras. "We're not filming The Truman Show, we don't have cameras set up all around our apartment, and they're not with us 24/7," she tells Entertainment Weekly. "Basically what they're doing is taking our lives and telling a story� It's not lying to anyone, it's telling what really happened, but it's just the way they film reality shows" So during the night of the disappearing nail polish, the cameras stopped rolling before she spoke to Brody and had to reenact the exact same convo on camera the next day. (Notice how she doesn't anything about the inaccurate editing of her actual date with Gavin...)
